From June 1 to 30, 2025, Shanghai Fangchi New Material Technology Co., Ltd. carried out a series of activities for the 24th National 'Safety Production Month' in accordance with the unified部署 of the national and Shanghai municipal governments. This year's theme was 'Everyone Speaks Safety, Everyone Knows Emergency Response – Keep Life Passages Clear.'
On June 5, the company held a kick-off meeting for Safety Production Month, attended by over 40 department heads and team leaders. The manager of the Safety and Environmental Protection Department reported on safety accidents in the industrial and trade sectors nationwide from the previous year and analyzed risk points related to the company's injection molding, debinding, and sintering processes. He noted that the main risks in the injection workshop are high-temperature burns and mechanical injuries, the debinding workshop involves flammable and explosive gases (such as nitric acid and oxalic acid), and the sintering workshop poses high-temperature and electric shock risks, requiring targeted preventive measures for each position.
On June 12, the company organized a plant-wide fire emergency evacuation drill. At 9:00 AM, a simulated electrical short circuit in the injection workshop triggered a fire alarm. Under the guidance of safety officers, employees covered their mouths and noses with wet towels, bent down, and quickly evacuated along designated routes to the assembly point. The entire evacuation process took 3 minutes and 20 seconds, with over 300 employees safely evacuated. Afterwards, safety officers demonstrated the use of dry powder fire extinguishers and had new employees practice one by one to ensure everyone knew how to use them.
From June 18 to 19, the company held a safety knowledge competition covering topics such as fire safety, electrical safety, chemical management, special equipment, and occupational health. Each department sent a three-person team to compete. After preliminary and final rounds, the injection workshop team won first place.
Additionally, during Safety Production Month, the company organized a plant-wide hazard inspection, identifying a total of 21 hazards, including clutter blocking some fire access routes, damaged locks on certain distribution boxes, and some employees not wearing safety goggles correctly. All hazards were rectified by June 28.
The company's deputy production manager stated at the summary meeting that safety is a prerequisite for production. The company will normalize hazard inspections, organize a plant-wide safety check every quarter, and strengthen three-level safety education for new employees, striving to achieve zero serious injuries or fatalities for the entire year.
